iFreeTV is a simple program that lets you watch TV channels from all around the world, over the Internet, from the comfort of your desktop or laptop. It comes with a wide selection of channels, neatly organized into categories based on their genre. Therefore you can quickly switch between watching news channels and watching sports-related ones. There are also categories like Entertainment, Kids, Lifestyle, Weather, and Music. Unfortunately, you can only add one of the channels to a list of favorites; adding a new channel to a list of watchable ones is not possible.
The interface of this application is quite minimalistic, including only the list of channels and the favorites. The embedded player is based on Windows Media Player, therefore it offers the same options, available by right-clicking the screen and accessing the context menu entries.
I also have some serious concerns regarding this tool, as it didn't work for many of the channels that I tried to watch. It failed to connect and display the video stream of those channels, without providing a clear error message that would've helped me solve the issue.
Considering the aforementioned issue, I have serious hesitations when it comes to recommending this application. In my opinion, you should skip it, as it's rather unlikely to provide a satisfactory Internet TV watching experience.
